Please visit this page regularly while the school is closed. From Monday 23rd March, Class teachers will be providing daily learning activities for your child to explore.
In addition to these daily activities, please ensure your child also:
- reads/shares a book
- gets at least half an hour of fresh air (if well enough to do so, following government guidelines)
What a fantastic week of learning you had last week! Your Rainforest boxes looked amazing - you put so much effort into making them over the last few weeks and you have learnt so much about the layers of the Rainforest! A big well done, you should be proud of the end results. I enjoyed reading your comprehension answers to The Explorer text we started too. I know lots of you loved reading the beginning of this book and you'll have to let me know if it has inspired you to read the rest!
We are moving on to learning more about the animals in the Rainforest and will be completing another non-fiction piece of writing. In Maths, we are doing the inverse of addition this week... Subtraction! I hope you enjoy your learning and try your best. I look forward to seeing your work and speaking to some of you on the phone this week!
We miss you very much in school, but as always, take care, have fun and stay safe.
I hope you had a good weekend and enjoyed the sunshine. You all worked so hard last week and produced some super work which you should be proud of. Here is another week of learning... We are taking an adventure to a country on a different continent now and leaving Borneo in South East Asia behind us! I can't wait to see all of your efforts this week on seesaw as usual. I look forward to speaking to some of you on the phone this week too.
As always, stay safe, be active and have fun!
Good Morning Badgers,
Pinch, punch it's the first day of the month! Unlucky Badgers, I got you all first this time!
Welcome to the first week of June - did you have a good half term? What did you do? I enjoyed reading in the sunshine. I wish I was seeing you all today but I look forward to talking to all of you on seesaw or by telephone soon.
I hope you enjoy the home/school learning this week. We are taking an adventure in Geography to a country in Asia, learning about an important environmental message in English over the next two weeks, getting creative in Art, pushing our stamina to the limits in PE with a running challenge and much more! I hope you all enjoy your learning and I look forward to seeing and hearing about your efforts.
As always, stay safe and have fun!
I hope you and your families are safe and well. Here is the last week of home learning before May half term. I hope that you will enjoy the English this week... I know some of you will be excited about it! I can't wait to view your efforts on Seesaw as I know you will do a great job. For Maths this week, I decided that money would be great revision for you, especially since we use it in everyday life. Do your best to answer the questions and solve the problems! More importantly, have fun and try to get out for exercise each day.
How are you? I hope you are doing well! Mrs Smith, Mrs Ashby and I have all thoroughly enjoyed looking at your work on Seesaw. We all are missing you and we hope that you are staying safe.
During our time at home, I know it can be difficult to stay motivated but I hope that you enjoy this week's home learning and have a go at some of the tasks. All I ask is that you try your best, keep busy and be happy. I cannot wait to see your efforts uploaded to Seesaw and hopefully I will get the chance to chat to some of you when I phone home this week!
I hope you all had a good Easter and are well. I look forward to speaking to you all very soon! I know it is different and sometimes tricky learning from home but I would like you all to try your best these next few weeks. I will be proud of anything and everything you manage to achieve!
