During Kindness week, we planned a Sports Party for our happy, healthy Hedgehog friends. We worked in groups to plan, organise and deliver a sporty activity for Hedgehog Class. They really enjoyed their morning. Well done to all Badgers for being encouraging and positive.

Week beginning 14th October 2019

After working hard all half term, Badgers deserved a fun session in the Explorers Area. We cooked mini pizza wraps on the fire and role played The Battle of Marathon which happened in Ancient Greece.

In Art, we drew our patterns and designs onto our pots in pencil before painting over the markings with black acrylic paint. It was very hard to keep the paint neat because our pots were bumpy and uneven. We managed it in the end and we are very happy with the results!

This week we were lucky to participate in a Korfball session run by Ely Viking Club. Children had a go at scoring and passing the ball which was made into a competitive game!

PE - In Tennis, we practised keeping control of a ball. We had to catch a ball with cones first and then moved on to catching a ball between two rackets. Badgers enjoyed balancing the ball on their rackets too!
