Please could your child bring a clearly named water bottle and come dressed to school in practical, appropriate clothing. They will need to bring their school uniform and school shoes in a large, named reusable shopping bag (Bag for Life). Your child may wear the wellies that they have stored at school. When choosing clothing for your child to wear please remember that...

There is no such thing as bad weather just bad choice of clothing!

Appropriate clothing would be:

  • Old thick leggings or jogging bottoms layered with tights/thermals when it gets colder
  • Long sleeved t-shirt (even if it is hot! This is to protect their arms)
  • Jumper/cardigan/fleece.

NB Layers are the key to keep your child warm. Your child can always take off a layer if they become too hot.
