Hello Ladybirds! It's Mrs O'Briain, Mrs Woodman and Mrs Oakman here! We just wanted to say how lovely it was to spend Wednesday morning with you this week! You were amazing Hedgehogs for the morning; we can't wait for September when Mrs O'Briain will be teaching you Mondays - Wednesdays and Mrs Woodman on Thursdays & Fridays.

We had so much fun, doing lots of Hedgehog themed activities; we made playdough hedgehogs with spaghetti and cheerio quills, we printed hedgehogs using a forks, curled paper to make different quills and so much more! This week in Ladybird class we shall be introducing the children to the idea of a personal special Me Box.
The 'Me Box' contains different things that are very special to you. I will spend time showing the children some of the things in my 'Me Box' explaining why they are special to me e.g. photograph, picture of my
favourite food, something someone has given to me, something that describes a personal interest. We would like to Invite your child to decorate their own (shoe) box and think of things they may like to put inside
that are special to them. We shall spend the next few weeks sharing the items inside their 'Me Box' and identify similarities and differences between themselves and their peers in the choices they have made. Could I please ask you to clearly label the box with your child's name and also explain to your child this box will be kept very safe and only opened during our special circle time so items will be safe.

With my thanks in anticipation of your support.
Mrs Johnson
