Tiddlywinks Pre-School is situated within the Stretham Community Primary School site, in Wood Lane, Stretham. We are a voluntary, community Pre-School and a registered charity affiliated to the Pre-School Learning Alliance. We comply with Ofsted standards and following our last inspection in January 2017, were graded as “Good”.
We provide a homely, safe and stimulating environment in which our children are encouraged to learn through play, working through the Early Years Foundation Stage of the National Curriculum.
Tiddlywinks accepts all children from the age of 2 years 6 months, including funded 2-year olds. We also offer extended provision of 30 hours per week where funding criteria is met.
Opening hours from September 2019: 9.00 am – 3.00 pm Mondays and Wednesdays; 9.00 am – 12.00 Noon Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, term-time only. Opening hours will increase as child numbers increase.
We have strong links with the school, which is especially beneficial for our rising 5’s in their final term before starting school.
Tiddlywinks welcomes volunteers to join us to help with our learning activities, read to the children and share special skills or experiences.
