Welcome

Geography

Intent

Our intent is to provide to provide a high-quality geography education which engages and inspires our pupils and encourages a curiosity and fascination about the world and its people. Through asking geographical questions, the children will gain geographical skills and knowledge, allowing them to understand our local area and the wider world, as well as gaining an appreciation of life in other cultures. We also aim to develop the children's sense of responsibility for the environment, understanding the impact we have on nature. KS2 follow the Opening Worlds curriculum, through which their key subject-specific vocabulary is developed throughout their journey through the school.
