The School Day
School will be open from 8.50 am. We request that all children arrive promptly. The Register will be taken at 9.00am.

| Morning Session 2 | 10.55 | – | 12.00 noon |
| Lunch | 12.00 | – | 1.00 pm |
| Afternoon Session | 1.00 | – | 3.15 pm |
The children in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 may have a 10 minute break during the afternoon.
Parents bringing and collecting their children from school should not enter the school drive or park in the staff car park. To ensure the safety of all our pupils we ask for co-operation and extra care and consideration when parking near the school at all times.
This currently means that the school is open for just over 32 hours a week.
Assemblies
Assemblies at Stretham Community Primary School occur daily.
These are usually;
Monday 2.45pm ‘Open the Book’ Assembly led by St James’ Church
Tuesday 2.45pm Headteacher's Assembly
Wednesday 2.45pm Assembly in class
Thursday 2.45pm Assembly with a focus on singing together
Friday 2.45pm Celebration Assembly
